The Challenge
A growing Ontario fast-casual brand was opening three new locations simultaneously and needed identical furniture packages for each site to maintain brand consistency. The operations manager faced a familiar problem: retail suppliers couldn’t match the quantities needed at a reasonable price point, and the furniture had to survive heavy daily use — multiple seatings per table, per day, in a high-traffic suburban environment. Durability was non-negotiable. The brand’s design team also required a specific colour and finish to match existing locations already open in Vaughan and Toronto.
The Solution
ForRestaurants worked directly with the chain’s operations and design teams to source a matching furniture package across all three sites. We supplied commercial-grade steel-frame dining chairs with black powder-coat finish and grey vinyl upholstery — specifically selected for stain resistance and easy sanitization between seatings. Each location also received two-tone vinyl booths in matching grey and black, with commercial-grade plywood cores and reinforced corner brackets built for years of heavy use.
Because ForRestaurants operates as a wholesale supplier with warehouse stock in the GTA, we were able to stage deliveries for each location across a two-week window as construction finished on each site — rather than forcing the client to store furniture in a staging warehouse. Wholesale pricing on a 3-location order provided significant savings versus retail purchasing.
